What’s in a name” People tend to ask this a lot. As far as Necroticgorebeast goes, just the name itself should give you some idea of what this band is about. Some might think that, with a name like this, it’s all about the shock value. I don’t think this is the case. After all, were all extreme metal heads and listen to the most brutal forms of music on the planet, so there’s not much that is going to shock us. No, with the band it’s something more. Perhaps, the insatiable need to subject the listener to a form of sickness in the mind that is so horribly twisted that insanity would pale in comparison. With titles like “Prostate Deflowering Primate”, “Autoerotic Rectal Prolapse”, and “Hacksaw Masturbation” you now find yourself in the midst of a maddening shitstorm that is Necroticgorebeast. Pummeling your mind into submission right from the beginning leaves little hope that you will walk away from this experience unscathed. With a strong foundation musically, the band implement a fitting touch of technical prowess to the overall experience which ensures that the mental wounds run deep, scarring the sanity of all who listen.

The maniacal schizophrenic wailings, otherwise known as the vocals, are some of the most demonic vomit inducing sounds I’ve heard this year. This is the type of extreme metal that serves its purpose well when it is done right, and there is no doubt that this band is firing on all 4 cylinders. By no means are they a copycat band, they just take what everyone else is doing and make it sicker and more depraved. They go for the jugular on the neck of normalcy as they seemingly make the claim that they are the new standard of brutal death metal. At this point, I would have to believe it.
