Straightforward and no-nonsense BM - 95%

NausikaDalazBlindaz, November 22nd, 2006

Punky, mostly mid-paced BM offering rates 11 on a scale of 0 to 10 for paint-stripping capability with high-pitched singing that's almost as abrasive. The basic production suits the group's garage rock approach well with songs beginning and ending with untidy guitar scree or static and the melodies are noted more for their raw energy than for being catchy or memorable in any way. People who like their BM straightforward and no-nonsense, and harsh-noisy and eardrum-piercing to boot, will be interested in this offering from this Finnish band.
The lyrics are dark and despairing and allude to past acts of violence in days gone by; they also make frequent references to nature which are reinforced by the album's sleeve artwork.
