Demoniac Flagellations

Everything about this record rules. It is typically the South American death/thrash that all those boys down south, like Mortuorio, Sarcofago, Hadez, Mortem, Saram and Holocausto are famous for. It is definitely death metal, but with a strong influence by the black/thrash, hell banger genre. So it is death metal, but it is hell banger shit, which should be obvious if you see pictures of the band, in which you will find drunken long haired folks with chains and bullet belts, and a million patches on their jackets. So it is that type of death metal, not the grind core type, even though the name might have you fooled. Do not be, this is the metal of death, not the death of metal. See bands previously mentioned if you are confused. All in all these guys do not redefine the genre, but rather they made a masterpiece in it. When I got it, it did not leave my stereo for roughly 3 weeks, it got some real abuse, but loved it. The music is strongly satanic, lots of chaos thrash solos, chanting vocals, almost clear, almost sung, but still growled thrash metal voice, nice clean, high as fuck guitars, and all played a bit messy, but still tight enough to please the critics. This genre is not known for how tightly it is played anyway. The songs are instant hymns, they are very good representation of the true spirit of metal, all satanic, lustful, proud, and violent as all hell. This album could have come out at anytime since 1984 and would still stand strong, and they manage to pull this type of old school stuff off in a way that is not repetitive, so it is not in fact a clone band of Mortuorio, whom they cover on this album (‘Camara De Torturas’), but their own band. And that is very rare amongst the hell bangers and bestial black fans. So this is one of those rare to find authentic non-cloned pieces of old school death/thrash with black metal influences, which was made after 1993. Worth buying, and it is now available through every medium imaginable.

I love South America. Not only for their women who seem to possess an ancient native beauty, but also for their music. For years SA have given the metal universe truly excellent and ugly music to worship at the altar of the goat. You know which hordes I am refering to; Sarcofago, Vulcano, Mutilator, Pentagram, Holocausto, early Sepultura etc.etc.etc. A few years ago I more or less fell off being 'in the know' of what unholy fucking noise might be brewing. I had began to wonder if any band might be able to pick up the torch of satanic metal from the jungles and temples of our southern comrades. Later part of last year I was reccomended by a good friend from a rather respectable label of this band called Anal Vomit. Before he said anything I thought it might be some really weak goregrind/slam death/groove/wigger bullshit, but as always I was wrong and was decimated by this group of possessed maniacs.

It's all here. The alcohol-drenched dementia of rapid-fire blast beats, some truly Wagner Antichrist-worshipping high sreeches and poseur-scorching demonic growls, complete and utter devestation of everything Christian, riffs the conjur up spiked demons from hell raping angels in front of the Virgin Mary while she herself is being DP'd by the throbbing disorted bass, etc.etc.etc. This is exactly what you would expect by a bunch of mentally-fucked Peruvians standing in a graveyard carrying on the tradition that "I.N.R.I." set upon this Christian world over two decades ago.

Seriously, this is some good shit. No questions asked. If you are in need of a good assfucking with a crucifix that one might find in your local Roman Catholic church, just go ahead and spread'em because Anal Vomit get the job done right and leaves a trail of bruised, sore, and bloody anuses and....see I've already lost my mind. Buy or die cocksuckers.

Anal Vomit hails from Peru, land of die-hard metalmaniacs and bands such as HADEZ and BLACK ANGEL.... what should we expect on this CD then?? Nothing but satanic deathblack attack!!
This is like a Sarcofago's INRI homage: shotgun-like drums, screamed vocals, sodom/possessed riffs... very exciting stuff, indeed.
Don't expect great production here, but only the headbangin' aggression from the 80's. Yeah, if you don't know the band you think it was recorded 20 years ago, and face it as a complement ! This kind of aggression you don't see often on today's metal scene. Today you get an almost-pro sound from a fuckin' PC. But this feeling, this honesty, this is not usual nowadays, and bands like Anal Vomit makes me see that is still worth to listen new stuff instead of listening only my old Bathory albums.
You can hear every instrument clearly, although it is a simple production, kind of like it was recorded live.
If you only praise bands from Norway, it is time to review your concepts.
