Withered Beauty

Besides Dimmu Borgirs Enthroned darkness triumphant this was my first extreme metal experience I ever bought. The first thing I heard from the band was their first song "Immortality is mine" from the Nuclear Blast Death is just the beginning Sampler. This song managed it to create so much atmosphere and brutality I never heard before. Great riffs, clean vocals at its best and Daniel Bryntses drumming made it for me to a song I willl never forget. And the album is even better. Lies is a killer track!!! A accoustic Intro and then unleashes hell in an explosion of blasts and riffs. Every song is different, there happen so many things like blasts and slow parts, groovy riffs and clean choirs. Some compare them with Hypocrisy, but I think Withered Beauty have much more in their music. Now, after 8 years extreme metal I still like this album and I hope their will soon be a life sign of Withered beauty
