This is another release that I ran into in my effort to further explore the genre known as death metal. This seems to be another band that didn't particularly get anywhere, even though I believe they had the potential to. Now it seems as though they will forever be condemned to obscurity.

What I like best about this album is the riffing. It bounces back and forth from sick tremolo picked riffs to thrashy head banging riffs and to slow doomish riffs. The riffs can change at the drop of a hat and continue to keep you guessing about what is coming next. Bouncing from slow paced doom sounding riffs to tremolo picked blasting back and forth, yet never being predictable. The EP has a great old school vibe, but keeps it's self from becoming generic sounding.

If I were to pick out a single standout track, it would be "The Involuntary Donation of an Organ". The other tracks are far behind it though. I would have liked their to be a full-length by this band I could sink my teeth into, but sadly there is not.
