Rapin' My Graveyard

Goat Sodomizer with their overtly cliched monoker, play death metal with an overly cliched theme, but dammit if they didn't find a fun way to do it! This demo is only three songs and under ten minutes, but what they lack in time they make up for with fun.

GS plays a form of death metal that is light on gloom, and light on their feet. The three songs on here are crafted in away so that they are definately death metal, but contain a certain vibe to them that makes you want to grab your friends, a keg of beer, and go to the graveyard, raise the dead and party all night long.

The best song on this album has to be the song "Rapin' My Graveyard". How one performs such an act is up for debate, but the music and lyrics are very good. Of course the song is death metal, but then around the end you hear a harmonica playing, in a style similar to bluegrass music. Even though the band is from Sweden they involke images of a group of guys getting drunk in a graveyard in Tennesee on a fullmoon, and dancing with a group of the living impaired.

I recommend that those looking for some fun death metal download this album.
