Let me start by saying that I would give this a rating about 10 percent higher if the production quality was better. The guitars and vocals sound really muffed. Not as bad as a Xasthur record, but pretty bad. Despite this unfortunate circumstance the album is really good and you can hear some really epic riffs within. The project is handled by one man who plays or programs all the insturments. This is actually really amazing becuase it comes out so well. I would compare it almost to Windir in terms of the epicness to number of members ratio. This is all about nationalism and viking pride and all, typical of underground black metal that comes out of western europe these days. Never the less, this is a fully worthwhile purchase, very epic and enjoyable, not trendy.
