Hellraper - Feed Bitches with Satan's Seed

I only listened to this because I'm a huge Torgeist/Vermeth fan and I try to listen anything that involves 'The Black Lord Beleth'Rim' aka 'Necrosadist' with Hellraper. I believe alot of the us share the same feeling about this. Here he plays rhythm guitar and plays it well. The whole band seems like a goof at times and cannot be taken seriously. The whole feel of this demo seems to be like a young bunch of high school teens just letting their inner demon loose and playing whatever the fuck they wanted.

How can anyone take a band seriously when a member goes by the name of Virgin's Banger? Even the title 'Feed Bitches With Satan's Seed' sounds like a title that some guy from the ghetto came up with while reading the Satanic Bible. It all seems childish and moronic, lacking any real or clear thought. The music inside is your basic blackened thrash/speed metal. 'Necrosadist' plays his instrument very well carrying the rhythm of the songs along very well and in my opinion the only thing that keeps me from stopping the music altogether. Psychoterror has a clear voice with obvious anger thrown in but he sounds whiny at times like he's annoyed more than pissed off.

The only real highlight here is the title song 'Feed Bitches With Satan's Seed', it has a great speedy riff from the beginning and it chugs along wonderfully. It shows how good these guys can be if everything goes right, but for a 5 song (4 songs, 1 intro) demo you don't get much to evaluate. I'd even say 'Addicted To Kill' is good too but the rhythm is too similar to the title track that it doesn't really get stand out on its own too much. It seems to me that Necrosadist (Beleth'Rim) just wanted to let loose some thrashy stuff but he's more known for his raw black metal prowess so do it under a different name and a lesser known band. Maybe no one will notice. It looks like he fulfilled his 'Sextrash', 'Massacra' taste on this demo. Overall its a below average affair and nothing that will leave you wanting more to be honest. Its for Beleth'Rim fans like myself that just wanted to hear him play something different outside of the LLN.

Hellraper....thrashing,........dead.....you. This short 5 song demo/rehearsal (I got copy 088 of 200) from these French necro sleeze rapist's is quite the onslaught of raw, shit production, and pummeling black thrashing attitude, and power. Very much in the vein of old school black thrash, I can definitely hear influences from bands like Bathory, or Venom's early material.

The music is very underproduced, but is easily listenable if you can get into it. The riffs vary a bit from straight forward speed, to jumpy chord progressions, and such, but really keep this very interesting. Most of the riffs on here are much in the vein of traditional thrash, and speed metal, and really carry an old school sound. The solos are done slopilly well, not much to speak of, but sorta just what I had expected. The vocals are killer, and differ a bit through out the tape, but maintain a great lead (most of the time) on top of the thrashing axes (the ending scream on the title track is awesome).

I would highly recommend this album to fans of true thrashing underground metal. Not for the average listener, but is definitely a killer album. Two goat horns raised to Hellraper !
