Contemporary thrash.” - 68%

Corimngul, January 3rd, 2005

This would have been quite good if it wasn’t for the vocalist, who does some strange snarling grunts that makes any lyrics impossible to hear. The other band members do make up for it though. The guitars and drumming are both played in an insane tempo with an insane energy. I sense musical skill here. They riff swiftly but don’t change riff very often. This is the kind of thrash demo where all band members thrash as much as they can, both individually and as a group, without thinking of song writing. It sounds the same all the time, just with changed levels of distortion between the songs. Riffing all the time, vocals every fourth note, static bass rhythm and a drummer who almost never changes his tempo. Don’t worry, it sounds worse than it is. The concept is reliable although it’s getting a bit old. All in all this is thirteen nice, thrashy minutes that would never fit a full-length as anything other than filler. The music is a heavier sort of Megadeth’s Last Rites with worse vocals and riffs.
