Defacing your Grandma - 96%

Holy shit. Brutal death/grind absolutely does not get better than this. I'm totally ass whipped by this band. This works so well, I can't find what to say that will convey the sheer brutality and tightness of this material.

4 song demo is what you get, clocking in under 12 minutes. Already, you can notice that even if this band were to suck, it can't be that long of a suffering, like some of these "brutal" bands, that just can't seem to get it together. Time is a crucial component of this genre, which doesn't give you to much maneuverability and "creativeness" so to speak. It would be the first thing you notice if shit starts hitting the fan, or seeps into the boredom realm and I'm eager to note that a lot of bands are boring and even stupid with their material and approach to this kind of music.

This band dominates all fields of the brutal arts - drumming, guitars and vocals. They are all great. Heavy, thick, pounding-ass riffs are laid upon tight as fuck drums, grinding and grooving all together, in each of these 4 songs! You even have you run of the mill guitar solos in track 3 and 4! You might deems this not-exciting, but it's so beautiful. Take my word. The first track "Atrocities That Testify Dementia" just blasts off right away, with no intro-bullshit or samples and ambiance, and gives you the craving and anticipation to finish this listening with bleeding ear drums and the munchies.

I can't seem to express this enough, but the drumming is really fast and tight, in way you wouldn't expect. It just amplifies the rest of the elements and give great base ground for you to really end this demo impressed, like I know I was.

If you tend to the brutal side of metal, this demo comes in very (very!) and highly recommended. I should also advise you to turn the volume up high enough so that the world can hear what beautiful monstrosities arise in this line of music.
