Sirius - ...the Eclipse (The Summons of the Warriors of Armageddon)

Sirius' best release - 87%

NH, March 1st, 2008

I ordered this demo at Dragonthrone Prod. in Finland, so unfortunately I am not able to give you any further informations about this band ...

The demo comes in a beautiful cover with lyrics, and the music can keep what the cover promises, anything on this demo is superprofessional, the cover (coloured + pro-printed), the sound, the tapes (pro-copied) etc. But what does the music offer us? Well, it seems that Sirius would have preferred to live in Norway, their music at least sounds very Norwegian, in my opinion a mixture between Limbonic Art and Troll, but not a crappy copy. Very orchestral and bombastic, but on the other side you can always hear the guitarlines. The tape consists of four tracks (one is an instrumental song in a very bombastic way) and is definitely the best demo that I have heard this year until now. The only thing that I did not understand at all, is why those four tracks are on the b-side as instrumental versions again, but it is interesting at all ... so don’t mind, you can also just listen to the a-side ... hurry up, and get this masterpiece at once, I heard that they are already signed to Nocturnal Art Prod. and I don’t know how many copies are left or whether it is limited, but mine is already no.453, and you should have heard the first steps of a band, that, possibly has a bright future ... if the fact that they are from Portugal is not too bad for the salerate ... but do yourself a favour and order the demo and I´ll try to get an interview ...
