Oral Lessons for...a Fast Degree

"Su, troia, succhia sta minchia"... That means "Come on, you bitch, suck my cock!" What a wonderful conclusion for this demo! Autenthic attitude and sincere devotion for porn to season a quite good deathcore... but they do not disdain digressions to other sounds: they pass from furious blast beats with black metal riffs to arrive even to pseudo-jazzish tempo...
This is Machescazo debut, it's a side project with members from Abiura and Blu Infinito, created and developed in a few months to find an outlet to playing will and to pay homage (as written on the thanklist) to all the pornstar all over the world, and with them those who appear on the samples (in italian language) taken from porn movies and put in 3 of the 4 tracks (something like Lividity-style)
The demo starts with "Today's special offer", the beginning is very very similar to "Running Man" from Raised Fist, but soon it changes passing even throughout a very cool swedish death old school riff at the half of the song...
The lyrics are obviously in line with the band's mood, it's a sort of concept about a girl that has to pass her exams but she has to "compromise"... eheheh... However, the lyrics could have been better, with some grammatical and metrical correction, but they've been written the night before the recording because of the split with their first singer... we can forgive them, accepting their excuses on the booklet.. I have to say that the booklet is very nice and ironic...
Then "The Sad Princess" follows, it's probably the song I most like of the 4, even for some nice "flam" at the right place but also for the break in the middle where Marco Marini from Doggo appears as back vocals on the freezing scream "Satanaaaaaaaa!!!!!". It's surely the most experimental one, but it doesn't lose that healthy roughness that carachterizes them.
The slapped bass grows in importance on the breaks of "The Unexpected Assfuck" (the tracklist is wrong) and the vocals are very well alterned among "swine growl", screaming black and "Cavalera-style". Bad miss, "Beyond The Fatal Tragedy" ends the demo after just 10 minutes: even here some ideas could have been better or more developed, but there is no accounting for tastes...
But not all convinced me: the drum bass is quite low recorded, and somewhere the sound dirty and saturated..
"Oral Lessons..." is surely successful and recommended to lovers of those sounds and their mix (and porn lovers, sure!), there are some shortcomings but I'm sure they will improve and correct them.
