Legions Bow to a Faceless God

I had gotten a hold of the As Hope Dies Birthplace and Burial Site EP, and thought it was pretty good, so before I heard Legions Bow to a Faceless God, I had some expectations. As Hope Dies does not dissapoint. There is an abundance of blackened melodic death metal, a furious barrage of ferocious dual riffs and killer harmonies, not like some other melodic death which meanders off into guitar solo wankery. The production here is decent, better than before, and the singers clean vocals arent out of tune on this cd. Don't be fooled into thinking As Hope Dies is some kind of hardcore band, give this album a chance, it is really good. Too bad that this is also their last album, so many bands could learn something from these guys.
