Bad quality sound, good quality music. - 83%

Sportswear, March 14th, 2004

This should be banned, just for that front cover alone, *ouch*.
Very raw and badly produced, not necessarily in a good way neither. There is a high level of distortion, that doesn't suit too much like it might do for a Black Metal band/CD. The guitars are murky and the drumming is tinny.
But, forget that, the vocals are great, brutal low guttural growls, with great screeches here and there. The moody parts are just that, and are pretty good, but would be more effective with better production, shit, this really should be re-recorded.
I mean, the breakdown near the start of "Ruptures of Pleats in a Carbon" is fucking great, vocals complimenting well, just needs to be full on crunchy, and not have that effect taken away by the bad production. Considering the production, this is a fucking great release actually. These guys are good musicians, they write good music and don't try to do anything too silly.
The intro/sample on "Addicted to a Purulent Orgasm" is ridiculous, and shouldn't be there, the song's not bad though.
"Stabbed And Choked By An Erection" is a good song, good breakdown nearer the end, the piggy squeals just before that are pretty good too.
The last minute or so on "Pleasure Broken Ass" is great.

Enough said, go and buy, dickhead! (Shit, I'm a rapper too).
