Black Orgies

on Black Orgies, ANCIENT DRIVE pull off a good style of goth metal. the vocals range from old school 80's deep goth rock chant, to growls and grunts. the guitars add alot of hardness to the sound, and the piano (keyboards) add a melodic, and dark atmosphere to the music. in this age of watered down melodic music, ANCIENT DRIVE retain a hard edge to their sound, and keep their form of goth metal more perverted and sadistic, rather than the usual tiresome romatic cliche. the last track on this album is a SISTERS OF MERCY cover, and does more justice to the song than the original version.
