JEZABEL – A TODO O NADA.

Power Metal from Argentina can result in a good or in a bad experience. Whether you are lucky or not; there are lots of talented and respected musicians as well as mediocre, brain damaged, weak minded impostors.

Musically, the give us absolute standard-Power Metal of the first-grade-HELLOWEEN beginners. Lots of recycled “Keepers Of The Seven Keys” constructs and a mediocre whiny vocal work. Riffs that we have either already heard 100 times or would not want to hear in first place, solos that are either non-descript or just plainly not good… But the main problem is singer Leandro Coronel, who is coming along in a pitch that bulks big time in my ears and after a short time already gets on my nerves just as big time. Then, can you turn off the damn keyboard fro at least five minutes? It’s goddamn annoying to hear nine songs in a row, all of them keyboard-driven and poorly organized, developed and crafted.

… But the hammer is the so-called "bonus-track", where Halloween’s classic "I Want Out" is tortured in the most gruesome way. The opening riff is purely played on keyboards and add to that the vocals, which lack range and power in the deeper passages, bad, just plainly bad! Like Jezabel itself, plainly disgusting.
With that JEZABEL are exactly the prototype of band that has received a contract because of the still strong-going Power Metal-flood and nobody really knows why. I mean. Fuck, if I was a power metal cumguzzler I would love this but as I’m not, then fuck off and die, Jezabel.

Conclusion: You don’t need a conclusion; I’ve already stated my point clearly on the review upwards.
