What do we have here? Hyperblasting groovy brutality from Japan, that's what!
Heavily influenced by the U.S. bands like Dying Fetus and Internal Bleeding, Japan's Vomit Remnants come to rape us of our pride! This EP is godly in all ways, not really that technical, but who cares? So, the album begins with some sort of urban house instrumental, not too shabby. Then to the next track "Prodigy of Solitude" (the first Vomit Remnants song to rape my eardrums), which is absolutely annihilates all in its path. Then onto the lightning fast "00 Buck Shot", which has an insane three-way vocal assault that lays waste to all faggish melodeath garbage. This song is has a lots of tempo changes, going from hypber-fast to slow to midpaced, to breakdown. And the riffs? My god, the riffs! Some of the sickest slams known to mankind can be found on this album. The rest of the album is good. Another track worthy of mention is "Inherited Deformity"...at times while listening to this song, you sometimes feel overwhelmed by it. The riffs and tempos constantly changes, guttural, growl and scream vocals skullfucking into a pile of medical waste...all this done, with plenty of groove! Hopefully with the new lineup they can continue to release material of this quality...
