The Nameless Faceless

Wow, what a great EP. I had no knowledge of this band prior to buying this release, and come to find out they're a pretty new act. Don't let that fool you, though, because this is on par with some of the better DM acts right now.

Production sounds great. Everything is very clear and sounds like a modern death metal record should. The vocals are damn near perfect when it comes to this style of music. My favorite is the drumming. It's rare on such a new band's first EP that they have such a solid drummer, and Dismal Lapse has that. What also blew my mind was that these guys are from the US! I thought to myself, "These guys are probably from Holland or something," because they reminded me a lot of Brutus.

Not much else to say really, check this band out if you can because they're for real.
