Rock 'n Roll all night - 80%

Axecrusher, March 7th, 2004

Poland has some real great heavy and speed metal bands like Kat, Stos, Turbo and here we have TSA.

This record has been released two times, in a Polish and an English version. They differ from each other (Tracklist, sound, lyrics and the songs) but the formula remains the same: Simple, very pure and honest heavy metal with a real rock 'n roll feeling. If you like bands like AC/DC, Pokolgép (first releases) then I'm sure you will like this as well. Songs like She Kat (Kokica on the Polish version) is one of these Mid-Tempo songs which are very welcome to drink a little beer with (or a big one) and it's hard not to raise your fist on this song! The vocals are melodic, and I really prefer the Polish version because the mix sounds more natural and better. The vocals sound a bit strange from time to time on the English version (which has nicer cover artwork by the way).
The riffs and solo's also have the typical 'simple heavy metal' feeling. Simple can be so nice sometimes...

I gave 80 points for this album, but the Polish version gets some more because I prefer the mix of it. Any heavy metal or hardrocker should get this release! Find this LP, lay the vinyl down on your pick up, open a beer and enjoy!
