Alright, I guess - 71%

Yeah, even generic death metal bands are good for the background, or even for listening to as long as it is not the only thing there is to focus attention on. There is also something to be said for generic death metal bands that are only just on the generic side. That little nagging at you that says "there is something about this band." Well, this album might be a little on the generic and repetitive side, but it is still a decent effort.

The guitars are more of the speed picking one has come to associate with death metal, even kind of sounding like angry bees. They don't do anything spectacular though, and that is what makes this album somewhat generic and boring. The drums are all typical blasting with a few changeups, which is not so bad, since they at least are dynamic. The bass has a pop that you can hear, which is enjoyable, since it adds a lot of depth to the music and makes it enjoyable, while cancelling out some of the other more generic and boring qualities. The vocals are not anything too special either. Just some Benton sounding shouting that is easily forgettable.

All in all, i would say that this album is for those of you Death Metal fans who just can't get enough death metal, regardless of how it sounds.
