Infandous - Rotting Decaying Festering

I first found this band while searching for random death metal bands in the $5 sale section of cdbaby.com. So I clicked on the link in order to listen to the sound clips to make sure I new what I was buying and what a discovery too, in just the sound clip to "two shots to the chrome dome" came a barrage of insane instruments and vocals. I was impressed, so I then bought it (Duh or else I wouldn't be reviewing it).

To describe the music, think of the modern Cannibal Corpse and Misery Index smashed together with a hammer into one band, your product would be Infandous. Each song contains monstrous riffs, rapid fast vocals, well executed blast beats, and a killer mini solo in each song. The vocalist in some songs converts from fast paced low death grunts to high pitched screams to demonstrate the grate vocal he posseses. Even though the songs only range from 1:59 to 2:46 minuets in length and the ep itself is less than 15:00 minuets, it will have you head banging till your head falls off. Also the production has that raw death/grindish feel to it but not quite as gritty and not quite as messy.

Originally this cost $12.97 and I got it for $5 and I would have gladly paid the 12.97 for it, its worth it. In my opinion, this is one of the best modern grind/death metal eps out there, so if you like either death metal or grindcore, this is a must have for your collection. If you liked this enough to go see them live, you can't cause they broke up, and what a shame too. They would of have been a monstrous force in the death metal underground.
