Gestrandet in Nastrand

When this MCD was released, WW were a hope in the German BM scene. The following full-length "Nordal" was weaker, and thereafter the band unfortunately split up. However, this album remains a good piece of traditional BM, straight rhythms, good melodies, all done in an own manner. You hear that this is a German band (lyrics are "sung" in German), what you don't hear is that the singer on that record was a female. The music itself has some similiarities to old Marduk and some other swedish and some german traditional, not brutal, more melodic Black / Death acts. Recommandable.
