Heh heh, pass the bong. - 93%

You know, not very much metal these days is really good for veging out to. There is apparent lack of really good laid back metal that won't make you sink into a catatonic seizure with boredom.

Which is why i'm glad this album came along. Almost Doomish blackish deathish all in one, with a touch of slow melodious harmony in it. Very nice metal to come home to and play after a long day of work, play, or whatever it is you do. But regardless of exactly what your day consisted of, this album is ideal to relax to. "Warriorsoul" is a prime example, the guitars and the vocals are there, yes, but the keys are given just as much showing, but they are very symphonic, rather than annoying or over prominent.

Even in songs such as "Hell Command", we get a very odd feel to the song, with vocals that almost melt into the guitar, harsh as they may be. And a very nice basic riff that carries your attention and drops it RIGHT in the middle of the song. The first time I played this album for my friends, I immediately had the urge to do massive downers so i could get the full effect of this kind of music.

My major grievance with this album is the poor production quality. Aside from that, I would recommend this band to Bal Sagoth fans, as well as fans of epic MDM.
