An Amazing Goregrind Album! - 92%

AnyoneForSomeGrind, January 8th, 2007

This is truly a superb album, certainly one of the best i've heard. I love the fact that it's original and shows just how talented these guys are, in terms of technicality and originality.

There is a twist on everything in this album - a sick twist on the vocals and song names for a start! I must also point out how amusing, yet gutturally astonishing the vocals are.

In terms of techinicality it's certainly one of those albums I wish I could manage to play even just one song. Each song is layered with interesting techniques, for example: the very opening to the album (Tits Covered in Dickhole Sores) starts with some very creative guitar riffing, and the drums in this track are blistering!

I must say that I appreciate the fact that SikFuk manage to create amazing tunes, catchy and impressive, with just two instruments and vocals an incredible eye-opener to all goregrind players.
Although I have no idea what the lyrics are most of the time, i'm sure i'd like them. Some people think that there's no lyrics and it's just noises, but i'm sure that this isn't the case. But the way in which they're sang tickles me every single time I hear them. Especially the bits that sound like a drain being unplugged through a wah wah pedal, it's hard to descrive what they're like exactly but if you get the album you'll know what I mean. If you also want a better insight, check out the studio vocal sessions over on YouTube, it's some pretty amazing stuff!

This album just goes from strength to strength as it progresses, and I must say it's well worth getting ahold of it to anyone who appreciates technical goregrind as i'm sure many will.

Better Than Your Average Grind - 85%

Being good friends with the band, I was almost obligated to get this album. Being a fan since their debut, "Gore Delicious", you can hear the new variations of Tardgrinder's guttural style. Amazing talent with the 'cricket style' vocals, as well as the always brutal guttural toilet spews. His guitar tapping skills are profoundly shown on this album, making their sound even more unique than it already is. The majority of the guitar riffs and solos may not be as unique and original as some, but their placement is what makes them awesome, almost making them seem new and original.

There is no leaving out Tardsnake's amazing drum skills, his speed and variation, as well as originality of blast beats is unbeatable! Also all of the small extras that make it all that much better, such as the cowbells and wind chimes. Together, they make up an extremely unique duo of guts, gore and grind. This album is definately a good purchase (as is their full disco) for any fan of unique goregrind.
