Dawn of the Necrofecalizer

Well here we have the second fullength from these goredeathgrinders aus Canada. I can’t say why, but when I first heard Dawn of the Necrofecalizer I was disappointed, but I must’ve been in an awful mood or something ‘cause this album’s cool-as-hell! It pretty much has it all; gore, splatter, humour, tight musicianship, brutal mangling, groove etc. I can’t really say it’s something new to the scene but it sure beats a ton of other bands by a mile!

The weird, humorous lyrics are an essential part of this band, eventhough you can’t hear jack shit without having the lyrics right in front of you. But while most other bands are trying to be as brutal and gory as possible it feels good to know that not everyone takes it as seriously. Musically it’s heavy and pounding, mercilessly grinding you aflame, only to piss on your ashes and maybe making a nice little teapot out of the goo that comes of it. The full sound really lets the heavy, churning string-work come at you like a stampede of a thousand bulls. All this while the punishing drumming’ll chase you around like a fool trying to escape your inevitable end – slow and painful death. Well, enough euphemisms! You get your heavy and groovy death metal mixed in with the mangling goregrind as well as a more back to the basics touch á la Napalm Death. And to have top-notch screaming and growling doesn’t hurt either. Lemme just tell you that this is a kick-arse album in every aspect – awesome sound, music, lyrics, samples and graphics. "I will fucking die for Satan with my own erection in my hand"!
