Now this is a cool CD!!!! I first heard some of this on seismic radio and I knew I had to get the disk. Glad I did too....This is highly original progressive metal with plenty of variety, influences, atmosphere, and heaviness. This is another one of those that probably got overlooked by me due to a "melodic metal" or "dream theater" tag being applied to it as a referrence. Damn shame to as this really kicks mucho gluteus....The guitar tone is clear and provides the "crunch" I think all metal should have. The production is top notch allowing all the instruments (including vox) to breathe without one overshadowing the other. All to compositions are interesting and well written providing an excellent listen throughout the entire disk....Even the cover tune was done with an interesting twist. There are no negatives to this disk but I do have a question....A Micheal Jackson cover!?!?!?!? Yo....wazup wif dat homey??? Anyway, this is a progressive metal masterpiece in my opinion and belongs in every proggers collection. An instant classic!!!!!! \m/ \m/
