This is one of the first death metal demos ever recorded.
"Fallen Angel" was recorded during the same session, but the song did not make the official demo; it was, however, heavily bootlegged. Fallen Angel was a one-take track, done quickly at the end of the recording session.
The first version (feat. Brian Montana) was made available for official download at Metalkult.com on July 11, 2007 (and is indeed still available using the Wayback Machine; see links).
A re-recorded version of this demo with Larry Lalonde playing lead guitar instead of Brian Montana was briefly released in 1984 with the same cover and track listing. The original version with Brian on guitar is distinguished by Jeff saying "Scream out in fright" right before the track 'Evil Warriors' and the guitar solos lean more on the Slayer template than Larry's more technical playing.
