Our chatroom is located on IRC at:

Server port: 6667
Channel: #metal

You can connect to it using an IRC client (such as mIRC) or the Java applet below. I strongly recommend using mIRC since it's more stable, less screwy and far less likely to crash your browser ;)

Instructions for the applet:
Just enter a nickname and click OK. If it won't connect, refresh the page and try another server. -_-

Quick instructions for mIRC out of the box:
Start the program (obviously), close the window with the pic of the ugly dude (and uncheck the checkbox in the lower left corner so you won't see him again), in the mIRC options window that should pop up fill out the full name, email and nickname fields (with fake info if you want) and click OK. In the status window, type "/server dream.esper.net", then it should pop the channel window when it's connected, type "#metal" in it. If it doesn't connect, try "/server " with another server from the list in the applet below. -_-
