I'm looking for blackened power metal bands that have a sound like that found on Demoniac's The Fire and the Wind. I'd also like it if the bands played with a style more like that found on the Demoniac song Demoniac Spell.

They always struck me as a folk metal band(mind this is the second song of theirs I have heard.)

Catamenia defintely aren't folk, but have leaned in that direction. Listen to their earlier albums up to Location: COLD. Also, you should check out Equilibrium, very folky, but also quite blackened. That said, I have absolutely no idea what folk instruments they seek to emulate....But ehir good.
