Well, some asshole managed to make a fake account and increased his post count to a ridiculous number (something like 1435895485)...which suggests he has hacking capabilities. Maybe you should look into it.

I naturally assumed that after the jig was up with KoRn being here and all that the account was made by a mod. But then again, trolls will always be looking for an oppurtunity to be making fake accounts for trolling purposes.

You know, at one point I was actually getting scared about what was happening around here. Random trolls popping up out of nowhere frequently, the main page having some bizarre news post up and of course...KoRn being here. I thought MA was being taken over. I was like "Holy shit! It's all over!".

I can imagine OSS and rexxz quietly giggling with malice while replying to everything.

Didn't see Alto_Variago and a few others in the KoRN threads yesterday, pity! They sure must have hoped for the inclusion to not be a joke, they have been very vocal about the "get nu-metal in to make it a complete encyclopedia" thing.

I would have liked to see a 95% review for one of Apocalypse's demos or something.

rexxz was a brilliant partner in crime. I was shocked that Nightgaunt played along though.

It funny that out of all the gag KoRn reviews, pinpals' was the only one to be deleted originally, even though, as I recall, he actually really likes that album.

Anyway, nicely done OSS, rexxz, Nightguant, whoever else; it was quite the hoax that will certainly be remembered. Hell, for a while there, it seemed as though MA was going to split in two, so to speak.

That was real funny. At first I really thought it was a joke like everybody else, but when mods claimed it serious, I still had my doubts. But they still got me. By far the best April fool's I've seen. Congrats.

I would have been more inclined to take it seriously if rexxz hadn't kept talking about how much he "loathed the GQ's decision"...gave it away too easily, but I guess that was the point.

That's a relief for me as well. Norther needs a talented new frontman but not at the expense of a superior band.

As for the joke, congrats to all of those among you who pulled it off. I was also rather amused by the various ''I hate *insert M-A user here*'' posts a couple of pages back. This whole business sure got a lot of people hopeful, happy, sad, angry and eager to state their various opinions.

It would have been more believable had it been Slipknot, I think. I actually got suckered into listening to a few songs off of KoRn's S/T by this whole thing, and there is nothing even remotely Metal about that music, spare the very sparse groove riffing.

Someone should delete Norther from Jari's other bands on the Norther page.
