I'm not bothered that Korn are on the archives, in the same way that I don't mind that Trivium are. There are plenty of bands I can accept as metal yet loathe. Being 'officially' metal isn't any kind of pedestal of acceptability in itself. Go ahead and add Slipknot for all I care.

I agree. As I Lay Dying is here, but not Hatebreed. Machine Head, but not Soulfly. Budgie and Sir Lord Baltimore, but not Captain Beyond (though I'm not gonna argue this one strongly). Seems to me the site panders to the attitudes of TRUE METULZZZZZ xD DEATH 2 POSERS type fans. At the end of the day, what the fuck would you even call those bands if not "metal", keeping in mind all the other music in the world out there? If you showed me Morbid Angel, Slipknot, Queens of the Stone Age and Lily Allen I'd be inclined to think that the first two have something in common musically, enough to consider them part of the same movement.
