Just so people know (and so Zorg doesn't start throwing accusations), I am adding lyrics to Black Altar's "Death Redemption". Because I'm having to write them out as I read them from the cassette j-card, it is taking fucking ages. So if you see a few updates on the page please excuse it, it's just me adding the lyrics.

Yes, they're being done one by one. Expect them fully done by the end of tomorrow, so no, I'm not whoring for points here. So please don't jump to that conclusion.

Yeah, he just fucked up Halcyon (US)'s page while doing the whole semi-pointless <b>Guitar:</b>, <b>Bass:</b>, list thing. I've corrected his mistake, though.

Edit: Add Castle Mountain to the list.

Does anyone knows how exactly that happens? I tried to mess around with it a few times, but I didn't manage to erase any information.

No idea exactly, I guess by forgetting to put part(s) of the < or b?

I saw another one some days ago but I could not add the former members again since the update was too long ago

it is not really pointwhoring, but user BlackMetalCultRecord keeps adding the link of his label to Funereus' (Mex) page...
only their demo was re-released by this label and the band closed their contact to that label and don't want to be connected with it (the guy of this label knows that)
also he wrote them: "Okay, First My Review States Only Repetitive Riffs And Low Quality Production. That Is Typical In Black Metal. Go Ahead and Do A Review. I Will Talk To My Friend at Metal Archives And Send him This Message. Then After I Will Leave Make More Accounts Myself And Leave You Worse Reviews!!"

user "Werewolf" is polluting a lot of band pages with links to his own distro (Israhellbanger), which is a common distro and not an official distributor

There should be a limit of links on band pages

When you see Abigor, Beherit, Cannibal Corpse, etc: the number of distros, interview etc ... its ridiculous

Question - I plan to go through my metal collection with the intention to update the album artworks where neccessary with better versions (whether with scans or better internet imagery). Is that considered "legal"?

The original artworks I want to replace are not necessarily low quality, but most of the times they are really really small.

Might take a note that it's not point-whoring only for the reason I'm already a vet, so points are the least of my interests.

and also his going through all newest added bands i dunno what his editing !!

For "Kaoscentrica" he just added a completely copied band bio in the notes

I saw him update a couple band's last night. I know that he added "other members unknown" to the Past/Former Members section of Mayhem (Deu)'s page. He added it to the other band named Mayhem from Germany, but it looks like PhantomOTO already removed it.

Edit: He added pointless shit to the additional notes on this release: http://metal-archives.com/release.php?id=80069. He added something similar to a band last night, but I can't remember their name.

user destroy_the_hush is adding spirit of metal site and useless links to many bands , yesterday i deleted after him like 10 bands ' were most of em polish ) and now found him again keeping out the work :

i wonder where he knows them from... at least the release date of soiree's demo is mentioned nowhere.

Same on Diehard page, in the notes its written "around 1995" and he added the demo in 1995 with the notes "date unknown, around 1995"

please everyone keep an eye on this user darknesssamara , currently his updating all newest updated bands and newest additions and his gaining points too fast !! i saw him 370 in less than min got to be 378 !!
caugh him updated acid rain which he added october date to there single release !! and there is no confirmed date for the single !! and the funny thing that the full lengh was released in september and that single is promoted for the full lengh !!

Edit : i cant believe that but while i was writing ths post , got to check back and i found him 402 points O.O

our freind darknesssamara got a big night today and his so inpatient to get the veteran rank !! now his past 420 points !! and going through syrian bands ,in latest update he gained 4 points , and i cant see nothing new !!

User RawVolkov88 is updating the list of bands where the name starts with a number I don't see what he is modifing/adding for all the bands!

Edit: now he starts with the list of bands starting with "A".
