This band: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540255973

The band's website says the release was never released..

"Uranium Filth have previously recorded an 8 track demo album entitled "Versitile Pain" but since Adam and Jake joined the band decided to scrap the demo as they had started to develop a new sound with Adam and Jakes input"

Last month i submiited Ophelia from Great Britain.
it got rejected for not being metal enough.
now, today again when artery submitted it,it got accepted..
How can this be?
I submitted the same details but why was my submission rejected and his accepted..
This is really injustice on my part!

For me it is metal enough. Also their influences listed are acceptable.

What is that - when you could not have the band accepted, no one can ??

http://www.myspace.com/momentmaniacs
I have deletedMoment Maniacs, the music is obviously not death metal and even lerss metal than Wolfbrigade. The label also seems to be indie one - hardly a direct world distribution.

Also
Wellwater Conspiracy
Hater

Side-projects that definitely DO look out of place here.

Also Sittin Idol - sounds like Godsmack.

I have deleted Highbrow, first single is seventies hard rock and the second one aor.

http://www.thecorroseum.com/features/70 ... ndex.htm#H
Also Summon the Crows predominantly crustcore.

Also Tumulto (Chl) - hard rock, from the 1982 release:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBL3eN-zPYc

Full Moon (USa) - seventies hard rock

Final Warning - hardcore punk
Quartergate - avantgarde rock

Also Negazione, they have always been predominantly hardcore punk.

Just a small clarification:
I got a mail from a band -- they have an entry here -- whose release is spread as a give away by a label, but the CD is actually still not officially released.

band wrote:
the cd has not been officially released yet. We are shopping for a label.

In or out?

I'm not sure what this band is, maybe some kind of modern hard rock/mallcore, but it definitely doesn't sound metal.

During the weekend at least two Lithuanian bands were deleted (on Friday there were 115 bands in the list, one was accepted today, but now there are 114 actually). Please, can anyone mention, what bands were deleted and on what reasons?

I do not remember all recently deleted bands, but they were deleted as always for the typical cases - no physical releases or not being metal.

The additional notes of Tomahawk state that it isn't really Mike Patton's side-project...

I think the note is disputable, but more importantly I don't really see how it's a side project. It was started after both Mr. Bungle and Faith No More were defunct.

Good point. And on that note, Rob Halford's "Two" isn't a side-project either (and of course not metal).

A while ago I brought up Headgirl, but it kind of got lost in between heaps of posts. Their only song is a cover of Johnny Kidd and the Pirates:

http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=27259

I think both Headgirl releases should be added as split albums on the pages of Motörhead and Girlschool and Headgirl itself should be deleted for having no original material.

Also Shogun - only one or two metal songs.

And Stingray (Jpn) - prog rock.

Also Douglas - pure aor:
http://www.aor-fm.com/bands/399_douglas_swiss.aspx
Zyris - hard rock
Zle Psy - bluesy hard rock
Raw Silk - aor

Deleted Tropers - punk/oi, really not predominantly metal.

Also a huge chunks of Egyptian, Algerian, Tunisian and other more "exotic" scenes. Many bands there did not have physical releases.
