Hi, I submitted the band Greber and it was rejected for not being metal enough. I do agree that the band is mostly grindcore with little metal influence. But, I believe the band fits under the side project rule because both members are in bands on the site and their release has been shipped internationally. Sorry if I'm wrong. Thanks for your consideration.

International shipping does not equal a worldwide release on a label. Read the first post in this thread.

Hi, I submitted the band Lance of Longinus. My rejection email said that I need to present proof of a physical release. I read the first post and it says that a picture of it will do? Here are a few images of the packaging.

Anyway, I hope this is sufficient enough.

I submitted a band from Puerto Rico, and it was rejected due to lack of physical proof of the band. I know, it was my mistake when I did submitted the band info, but then I left two notifications to edit band info, incluiding info on an upcoming debut EP, there also info on their social networking pages (we're working on an official band page) where there are posted some mp3's to confirm the band's material and existence. I please ask you to reconsider my submission of this band. Thanks for your time.

The album must be already released at the time of submission. Read the rules.

Well, I hope the above would be of help then. Well, I was looking up Static-X on the database. Not there. Tried to create it, said that apparently it is not 'metal enough'. I don't see why. Please look into it, yeah>? Thanls.

Cheers.

It is nu-metal, which is not a valid metal genre. Read the rules.

Anyone?

NOTE: the band can get accepted based on the side-project rule (side project of V.O. Pulver), LC records ( http://www.lcrecords.net/ ) has worldwide distribution via http://www.twilight-vertrieb.de/
From LC records official website:
"We signed Distribution-deals with Nonstopmusic for Switzerland and Twilight for the rest of the world! nevertheless, you can still order directly from us."
Buy the album via Twilight: http://www.twilight-vertrieb.de/index.p ... em&id=3664

BUT ALSO the band is metal.

Hello,

I have an objection about the rejection of the band Chronic Underground. In fact I listened to the tracks over and over before submitting the band and they are metal enough. Just don't want to be offensive or something but this band should've been accepted anyway this is not a problem.

Cheers.

No, they are stoner rock. And please stop asking about every rejected band.

Ok, in fact I add a band when I am personally convinced that they fit to MA so I ask about the rejection reason to avoid doing the same mistake later if I wanted to add another band having a similar sound. You may probably add the rejection reason in the email "stoner rock".

You did not accept Indico because there are no physical releases. Really?

it is up to you to provide proofs. Read the first post in this thread. Besides that, the band plays punk and not metal.

Hey there!

I've added 2 new bands (Vermin & Wicked) and both have a CD out.
I also added the informations about the albums, but in both terms I received a mail with the following words "Either there is a lack of information, or this band has no apparent discography. Please see rule #7. If this band has indeed released anything and you can show us proof, you can resubmit it again"

Uhm.. What's up??

Ear Bleeding Disorder rejected for no apparent discography.

They're part of a split that's already on the site...

http://www.myspace.com/inlegend it was rejected once before they released officialy their cd, but I'm not sure if they were rejected due to no discography or cuz they are not metal enough. My question is if are they Metal? and if can they be added in the MA?? thanks

It was rejected for not being metal. Piano metal is nonsense.

No man not you I am asking the user who posted the original link since the music doesn't even have any relation to metal at all!

What about this band http://www.myspace.com/ashesofyourenemy can it get removed from the rejected list? Typical metal based metalcore.

Salutations,

Yesterday MA rejected the submission of our local band Hellhavndz.
Here is some proof of the band's existence.

1. The photos of the band's release:

I hope that you'll give me a second chance to submit this band, which is really nice by the way.
Thank you.

Greetings!

Alex here's from Darknagar Records.

I want to submit Blood Covenant, Christian Black Metal from Armenia. As I know, the band had been rejected for lack of physical release.

The DVD "Live at Yerevan' is out this week. It is a pro-made DVD release, not DVD-R.

http://www.darknagar.ru/en/releases.html

Hope it will be enough.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards!

Okay, I know this band was already brought up before, but the submitter apparently didn't link to the band's more "metal" songs (keyword: apparently).

Somebody ripped and uploaded the tape, but I'm lost as to whether or not is qualifies as black metal or not... the production's so fuzzy.
  1. 01-aryan_kommando_88-black_sun.mp3
  2. 02-aryan_kommando_88-jewish_ashes_darken_the_sky.mp3
  3. 03-aryan_kommando_88-bliztkrieg.mp3

My feelings on Nazi ideology are pretty clear, so I reeeeeally wouldn't be losing a wink of sleep if they're still rejected.

Hi, I've submitted the informations about Eva Can't but they were rejected because "Either there is a lack of information, or this band has no apparent discography".

We preferred the online distribution but as you can see in one of our promotional flyers (http://www.eva-cant.com/images/Flyer-Promo.gif) there are existing physical copies available of the album and others were distributed the day we launched the album.

Is something else missing?

Thanks,
Andrea.
