So I've been listening to the "big 3" in my opinion of snowy melod death symphy vibe bands(Suotana, Frosttide, and Crepuscle) and I was wondering if you guys can throw in some other stuff similar to them.

The first 3 Immortal records sound as being recorded under the snow.
And Enslaved's Vikingligr Veldi is for sure too. What a winter album.

I would say that The Mantle by Agalloch is a great example of snowy sounding stuff.

Finnish metal time. Maybe melodic black metal, though, but this time, really melodic. And cold.

Throes Of Dawn's debut album 'Pakkasherra' ("lord of frost") is one sure bet.

Do you need melodeath specifically? If not, then Paysage D'Hiver should have been the first answer.

The June Frost by Mournful Congregation is my favorite album to listen to in the snow. A gentle snowfall, where the roads aren't getting enough to really be dangerous, but people are going slower as a precaution. It helps settle nerves.

Enslaved - Frost, like those early Immortal albums, is ice (duh). Check out the Discogs page for the first pressing on baby blue vinyl. I don't normally like to draw attention to collector nonsense like that, but in this case, it works perfectly with the cover art and production feel/vibe. It's not always possible or apropos, but it's unfortunate that more labels don't use this type of thing in favor of the album vs in favor of sales.

Skogen aren't melodeath, but they're decently melodic for a black metal band. I've always thought their album "I döden" had a very snowy, wintry atmosphere.
