weird, they were like the one band that it seemed I could count on would come to my city, and they're not. I wouldn't wanna see the first two bands anyways

I just saw this, I was glad to see they're finally coming around me, BUT I was really disappointed to see who they're touring with. I fucking wish they'd just do a thrash tour with some bands like Fueled by Fire or Violator or Rumpelstiltskin Grinder :(

I'll still be there despite Unearth faggin' the place up.

Hmm, nice that there's a CT date, but I do find it a bit odd that Lazarus AD is a support band, as they're also performing less than a month earlier at the Webster as well on the Amon Amarth/Goatwhore tour, which I plan on going to as well, but highly doubt I will because I have no transportation from my college dorm.

Unearth is one of the few extremely well-known metalcore bands I can tolerate, so that's nice.

Overall, the support is good, but I feel better support bands that Testament fans would like should have been booked.

Excellent. They played here in Montreal not too long ago, but it was at some shitty venue with extremely bad sound. We couldn't hear Chuck at all before the third or fourth song, and Skolnick's leads were near inaudible for the whole fucking set. What a waste. Incidentally, nu-Cryptopsy was opening for them; if you thought they sounded bad in studio, imagine with that kind of live sound... But anyway, the Metropolis should have great sound, so awesome show in perspective.

I saw Testament my first time in 2005 at the Chance in Pougkeepsie, NY. The sound was amazing...and this was the first reunion show with skolnick since they get back together. Chuck billy announced "we're only playin old shit tonight." This is also the last big show I ever witnessesd stage diving and people jumping on stage for Over the Wall. After this, it seems like security became extremely tight eveyrwhere....Anyways, the sound was flawless and they played almost everything i wanted to hear besides c.o.t.l.o.d.

The second time i Saw testament was also at this club, however the sound was as described above. Completely unaudible vocals as well as leads.....and i drove 3 hours for that..but I wasnt discouraged afterwards. I saw Testament in New jersey a few months later and the sound there was flawless. I'll be seeing them in this tour but I'm prepared to be disappointed because they will be promoting the new album.

Ya, I saw them in July, or August last year with Judas Priest. Same thing. I could barely hear any vocals. I could see them playing solos, but not hear it.

The venue I saw them at was my cities largest.

I saw them last July and they sucked. Judas Priest's roadies got a better reception.

The supporting acts are full of fail, but I'm going none-the-less.
