In the mail, Baptism - Chalice Of Death 7" ep for $10AUD. Not sure if it's numbered (out of 666 naturally), will have to check when it arrives. Slowly but surely growing my Baptism collection.

Just remember to tell me is it any good when you get it! What Baptism releases do you have ? I'm interested because I like what I've heard from Baptism and I would like to start buying their stuff.

Will do. Like I said, slowly but surely. I have Wisdom And Hate ep (lim 666 copies) on cd, Morbid Wings Of Sathanas (lim 500 copies) on gatefold vinyl and now the Chalice Of Death 7". I need to obtain more myself, but some are getting harder to find due to limited pressings, and ridiculous eGay prices.

English Dogs - Where Legend Began CD - Fenriz's recommendation, I've already got Forward Into Battle which is cool enough, but this one sounds better.
Cathedral - Guessing Game CD - been waiting 5 years for this one to come out. Plus, I'm seeing them live at the end of the month, so I should really get acquainted with the new stuff.

Happy student loan day to me! :D

Nice. One of my favorite Merzbow albums... of his 900+ releases.

I recently purchased:

"Envoy of Lucifer" by Nifelheim
"Huldrafolk" by Wyrd
"Tago Mago" by CAN
"Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments" by Melvins
"Easter" by These Arms Are Snakes
"Panopticon" by ISIS
"The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste" by Ministry
"Option Paralysis" by Dillinger Escape Plan
"10,000 Days" by Tool (finally have the special edition)

Time Waits for No Slave is good, but damn, it's WAY too long.

Just ordered Night on Brocken by Fates Warning for about 5 bucks. Also grabbed King of the Dead by Cirith Ungol which I could have sworn I already ordered (and posted here about it) but it didn't show up on my order history (or in my mailbox) so I'm trying again.

I also picked up In Narcosis by Maruta at a local used record store. It's not bad, although I wish some of the songs were a bit more straight forward. They are really into their pinch harmonics.

Ya, sometimes longer is VERY bad. That album is great through the first 10 songs or so, but it starts to get too long after that. They could have cut some tracks out for sure and it would have been a better album.

As of now, after an extraordinarily cursory listen (like 30 seconds of each song), no. I don't know. I'll have to listen to it more in depth. I wasn't blown away at first, though.

I just ordered Life is Killing Me and the digipack of Bloody Kisses (had the jewel case) new for cheap. That pretty much finishes my full-length collection of Type O Negative. I still want to get their DVDs though and if I see Origin of the Feces somewhere for cheap, I'll get it.

Nice, yeah after I heard about Pete I decided to get the rest of their full lengths. I've got Dead Again & the remaster of Slow, Deep and Hard on the way. Then I will be complete.

Oh, Dead Again is fantastic. Some really memorable moments on that album, not a single weak song either (their longest too at 1 hour and 17 minutes, almost the CD max haha). It is probably my second favorite of theirs, however, Slow, Deep and Hard is very close behind. I think it was really a great way to end his legacy.

I love that Kyuss album. Albeit not their best, it's still great. I really wish they would get back together... but no, Josh Homme is too much of a rock star to do it. He's probably too busy sucking off Jack White. Scott Reeder even said he'd do the reunion just for a beer.

As much as I like this thread, the "no posts exist" bug is getting out of hand here. A new thread will be created shortly.
