Axegrinder

Axegrinder began as a metallic crust punk band under the name Tyrants of Hate in 1985. The original lineup was comprised of members that came from the bands Stone the Crowz (Trev and Matt), and The Proudhons (Jel and Steve). The name change to Axegrinder took place a year later. Citing Amebix as an influence, their sound has often also been compared to that of Motörhead and Venom.
