Endstille dissociates itself from right-wing political beliefs, stating that black metal "is in its principle unpolitical."

In 2015, the band announced a new album called "Finis Germaniae", but it never came out. In 2023, Zingultus explained in an interview with Metal.de that the band ultimately did not want to release "Finis Germaniae" because it did not sound like an Endstille album to them.
