Not to be confused with the progressive metal band Mace from Massachusetts.

Mace debuted as a trio on the Metal Massacre V compilation, contributing the track "Marching Saprophytes". The song was miscredited on the sleeve and was, in fact, titled 'Marching Sacrifice', as correctly listed on the compilation Northwest Metalfest from Ground Zero Records in 1984.
