Concrete Sox were arguably one of the first bands to play the "crossover thrash" sound, blending their hardcore background with metal-inspired riffs. While playing crossover thrash music, the band also had their crust punk roots intact in their music. Their post-'90s material shows a more hardcore/crust punk sound than crossover style of music.
