In Norse mythology, Draupnir was the golden arm ring worn by Odin and fashioned by the dwarves. It had the property of releasing eight golden drops every ninth night to form rings of equal worth. The name is translated as "Dripper".

Split-up in 2009 but revived by Vargath later in the year.
