The band was founded by Tommy Dee in the mid-'80s, and had various names: Killers (in '85), Yammies (in '86), Monsters (in '87). Around 1987-'88 name was changed to G.R.G. (jokingly decrypted as Gay Radish Gleams). In the early '90s, the name was changed to Holochaust. Another name change - to Darcane - was in January 2003 (just before "Survivors of the Holochaust" release).
