Formed by former members of Slauter Xstroyes, and named after their 1985 debut album. Some of the first Winterkill material was originally written by Brent Sullivan and Slauter Xstroyes singer John Stewart, for the 2nd album of John's band Energy Vampires, which he originally started only months after SX's 1989 breakup.
