The band members (specifically Karlo Testen, Luka Matković and Tihi) had personal disagreements about the sound the band should go for, which ultimately led to the latter two and Đorđe Luković leaving Space Eater to form Quasarborn in 2016. As of then, the band is de facto inactive, but Karlo made no official statement about Space Eater's current status.
