Contrary to popular belief Buried Dreams did not take their name from the song by Carcass. It was derived from their own song "Shining on Your Dreams", which the band believed to have "deep" lyrics. After realizing the coincidence they later covered "Buried Dreams" as a bonus track for the "Perception" album.
