The band were originally called Regurgitation, and recorded the widely circulated demo tape "Bathrooms Rule" in late 80's. This demo attracted the attention of Earache to their brand of humorous super-fast grind.
The band's name is an acronym for "Old Lady Drivers."
For the album ‘Lo Flux Tube’ (1991), the band recruited Jason Everman on bass. Before joining OLD , Jason was briefly in Nirvana, and is in fact pictured on the front sleeve of their debut "Bleach" on Sub Pop. |
