Though the band formed in 1988, a name wasn't created until 1990 (Necrophenistic Nightmare). In January '91 they recorded a demo, "Tales of Insanity", which was scrapped since they weren't satisfied with the way that it turned out. A name change to Enslaved took place in July '91, and their first demo release, "Dark Tales of Insanity" was ...
