The British heavy metal band Limelight was formed in 1967 by teenage brother guitarists Mike and Glenn Scrimshaw along with bassist John Dakin while still in school. In the early days the band was purely instrumental, but for more important shows they hired drummer Jimmy Stephenson. Many line-up changes took place over the years as they toured Australia in the '70s.
