Magus was the pre-Absu act of Proscriptor McGovern.
Magus was active for about six months (from December 12, 1991 to mid-1992). Shortly before disbanding, they had been speaking with Toni of Qabalah Records about the possibility of releasing a full-length album through the label, but this never came to fruition.
